A spinoff from a staffing company that built an in-house solution to manage applicants and new hires, Employstream aims to help more staffing companies speed up the hiring process and control the mounds of paperwork associated with onboarding people.
Believe it or not, most staffing companies these days are still filing paper in those old-school file cabinets - you know, the ones our teachers used to have. With increasing employment regulations it has become even more important to have quick access to individual employee files. And that is especially tricky when hiring thousands of people each year.
To simplify it all, Employstream's platform connects many systems (payroll, applicant, management, etc) into a streamlined process. This allows recruiters to know exactly where their applicants exist in each step of the process, even knowing if they've opened employment documents. Growing quickly, Employstream set out to create a custom white label-solution, making it easier for other staffing companies to deliver a branded experience.

Enhanced Job Board
This job board was designed with white-labeling in mind. Brand assets can easily be uploaded to give the client a custom experience.
This dashboard makes staffing professionals' lives so much easier. A user can login and see exactly where applicants stand in the process. They can also drill down to view individual data and hot items that need to be addressed.
Employee Profile Panel
We opened up a profile section for applicants and employees to manage their payroll, resume and account information. Best of all this feature is an optional feature that Employstream can turn on to increase their value to clients.
The most interesting part of the project was creating a mobile version of the dashboard with easy, yet full navigation so recruiters can quickly check applicant status while on-the-go. We're really proud of the final design - smart, simplistic, and sleek. It was fun to see the Employstream team land their first client using the prototype we built, before any development had even started!
In the end we applied the front-end development to help the Employstream team implement their first AngularJS project.
